School Council

The Council is active throughout the school year with fundraising to support various school activities.  Specifically, involvement in the Sacraments of The Holy Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation, assistance with graduation, student retreats, student agendas, field trips, Christmas luncheon, charitable works, school beautification, special presenters in the school, student subsidies, stained glass initiatives, special purchases to enhance programs school wide on many levels and goal-setting. Initiatives always include enhancing our volunteer pool, keeping informed on community issues, work in partnership with the parish on Youth Ministry, increasing awareness of School Council activities and communicating school-related issues to parents.  School Council meetings provide a vital opportunity for all school stakeholders to discuss and provide input on a range of issues to ensure the best educational opportunities for students at St. Mary School.
